Common questions
Is Wishwiff free?
Yes. Making and sending a celebration is free and you don't need an account. The site is supported by ads shown on some pages.
Does the recipient need to download an app?
No. The recipient opens the link in the browser on their phone or computer. You can send the link through WhatsApp, or copy it and share it any way you like.
How long does a celebration stay online?
A celebration is permanently deleted 7 days after it's created. You can delete it earlier from your tracking page.
How do I know it was opened?
When you create a celebration you get a private tracking link. There you can see whether it was opened, whether the recipient completed the ritual, and the thank-you emoji they sent.
Is the microphone recorded?
No. The microphone is used only if permission is given, to blow out the candles on a birthday cake, and the sound is processed only on the device. It isn't recorded or sent to our server. Without permission, the candles go out by holding a button.
Which occasions can I make a celebration for?
Personal days such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and new homes; occasions such as Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, New Year and national holidays; and short calming sessions. Each one has tips and example messages on the Celebration ideas page.
